Filmmaker Indraganti Mohanakrishna has revealed the emotional depth of his upcoming film Sarangapani Jathakam, highlighted through the song “Sanchari Sanchari.” While the film is largely a comedy, the song emphasizes the importance of emotion in storytelling. Starring Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur, the film touches on themes of love and personal conflict.
Indraganti shared, “Even in a full-length comedy, emotion is key.” He described the film’s central theme as the emotional journey of a man torn between his beliefs and the woman he loves. “The song marks a crucial turning point in the narrative,” said the director of Ami Thumi and Ashta Chamma.
Describing “Sanchari” as the Viraha Geetham of the year, Indraganti explained that the song encapsulates the protagonist’s agony of separation. This moment, he added, drives the character’s determination to overcome personal obstacles and win back his love.
Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies, Sarangapani Jathakam is set to release on December 20th. In the lead-up to the film’s theatrical debut, two more songs and an exciting trailer will be released.
