The lawyers representing Sandhya Theater have filed a quash petition following the tragic incident during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at the Sandhya 70MM theater, which resulted in a woman’s death. In response, the police took action, arresting three individuals from the theater’s management.
In an unexpected development, actor Allu Arjun was taken from his home and sent to Nampally Court, where he was remanded to 14 days in Central Jail, Hyderabad. However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail, ruling the case to be without merit and deeming the incident unfortunate.
The legal counsel for Sandhya Theater issued an official statement, clarifying their position on the matter. “We represent the management of Sandhya Theater and have filed a quash petition before the Honorable High Court. The court has instructed the police not to arrest any individuals who have not yet been detained. Regarding the management, two owners of Sandhya Theater have been arrested, but the High Court has granted them interim bail. As for Allu Arjun, we are not his counsel, but we acknowledge that he too has been granted interim bail for a period of four weeks. He will execute a personal bond of Rs 50,000 with the Superintendent of Chanchalguda Jail before being released on bail.”
