Since his comeback with Khaidi No. 150, Megastar Chiranjeevi has held the Non-Baahubali box office record, with no senior actor breaking his achievements until now. Chiranjeevi surpassed his own milestones with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya, the latter collecting a record 129 crore share in its Telugu version. However, Sankranthiki Vasthunam has now outperformed Waltair Veerayya at the worldwide box office.
