Satya Akkala is an Indian actor and comedian known for his work in Telugu cinema. He earned the SIIMA Award for Best Comedian in Telugu for his performance in the 2018 film Chalo. Born on March 4, 1988, Satya is currently 36 years old.

Satya Akkala, originally from Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh, left his B. Tech studies at BVC Institute of Technology and Sciences to pursue a career in the film industry. He began his journey as an assistant director, working on films like Drona (2009) and the TV series Amrutham. His acting breakthrough came with the role of Pulakesi in Pilla Zamindar (2011). Director Sudheer Varma, impressed by Satya’s performance, cast him in a pivotal role in Swamy Ra Ra (2013), which brought him wider recognition. He also appeared on the popular comedy show Jabardasth.
In 2019, Satya played a lead role in the comedy thriller Mathu Vadalara. Critics praised his performance, with The Hindu noting that “Satya delivers some of the best lines,” while The Times of India highlighted his portrayal of Yesu, stating that Satya “outperformed the well-written character with ease, showcasing his comedic talent.” In 2021, he took on a lead role in the film Vivaha Bhojanambu.
