Typically, films stream within four weeks of their theatrical release, but Manamey has seen an eight-week delay due to financial reasons. The digital rights were negotiated with both Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar, and the deal has now been finalized with Disney+ Hotstar.
Directed by Sriram Adithya, Manamey is a family entertainer featuring Vikram Adittya, Vennela Kishore, Seerat Kapoor, and Ayesha Khan. With music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, the film follows the life of Vikram (Sharwanand), a carefree youngster from London whose life changes when he is tasked with caring for a 2-year-old child after an accident.
