Single Review: Is it a must watch film ?

Vijay is played by Sree Vishnu, who relentlessly tries to end his single life. The movie depicts
the life of Vijay and it follows his love story with Purva (Ketika Sharma) and ultimately explores
the reasons that lead him to remain single in the end.

Ketika Sharma plays the female lead. but her character in the movie is well written. Her
performance is getting mixed reviews from the audience. Some people enjoyed her
performance, while some did not like the work.
The movie Single is directed by Caarthick Raju. He works with a simple, concept-driven plot
that will entertain you , make you laugh but he fails to bring the film to a conclusion.
The first half sets the tone well while focusing on two single friends and their attempts to end
their singlehood. The director’s work is good. He tries to create the same situations with different
women for Vijay and how he falls into conflicts.
The biggest issue lies in the second half.
the director loses momentum and clarity of the movie. The emotions and performance are also
not entertaining. The characters were well written and executed but it does not match the beat
of the movie. It does not feel either fully entertaining or emotionally satisfying.
Music and other department
Vishal Chandrasekhar’s songs are good. They may not add much value to the film, but his
background score is a must to hear one time.Velraj’s cinematographer is quite decent. The film
