SJ Suryah takes on the role of Mopidevi, a politician in Shankar’s highly anticipated film Game Changer. This marks his second collaboration with the visionary director and his first with Tollywood star Ram Charan.
With the film set to release on January 10, 2025, Suryah shared his excitement in a recent media interaction, promising that his performance will spark conversations post-release.
A Clash of Ideals
“The story revolves around the conflict between a selfless collector who prioritizes society and a selfish politician,” Suryah explained. While the premise may sound familiar, he assured fans that Shankar’s unique scene crafting sets this film apart.
Four Distinct Looks
Suryah revealed that his character will have four distinct looks in the movie. “Shankar sir paid meticulous attention to my character’s mannerisms, dialogues, and overall presentation. Two of these looks are already shown in the trailer, but the other two will be a surprise for audiences in theaters,” he teased.
A Role of Conviction
When asked about his decision to join the project, Suryah clarified, “I don’t usually take up roles unless the character impresses me. But with Shankar, there was no second thought. He’s one of the few directors who’ve elevated Indian cinema to new heights. Working with him is a dream for any actor.”
