In a recent update, it has been confirmed that the highly anticipated Bollywood adaptation of the acclaimed Kollywood film Soorarai Pottru, led by none other than Akshay Kumar, is scheduled to hit theaters on July 12, 2024.
The filmmakers have now unveiled the official title of the movie as “Sarfira,” accompanied by a teaser to mark the announcement of the release date.
Under the direction of National Award-winning filmmaker Sudha Kongara, who helmed the original Tamil version, the Hindi adaptation of “Sarfira” aims to stay true to the essence of the original storyline while appealing to a wider audience base.
Produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape Of Good Films), Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment), along with Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment), “Sarfira” features music by GV Prakash Kumar.
