  • Stay hydrated: Drink 8–10 glasses of water daily. Increase intake during outdoor activities or excessive sweating.
  • Maintain a healthy weight: Extra pounds stress knees, hips, and back. Opt for light, seasonal meals to manage weight.
  • Exercise wisely: Avoid intense workouts during peak heat. Choose low-impact options like swimming, yoga, or early/late-day walks. Always warm up and cool down.
  • Avoid overexertion: Gradually increase physical effort. Take breaks during long walks or hikes, and apply cold packs if joints swell.
  • Wear the right shoes: Ditch flat sandals and heels. Use supportive footwear with good cushioning and arch support.
  • Stick to your treatment plan: Continue medications and consult your doctor about supplements like calcium, Vitamin D, or omega-3s.
