Suriya Puts an End to Family Speculations

Date:

Suriya, renowned as one of the finest actors in South cinema, is known for his disciplined approach to his craft and his ability to stay clear of controversies. Recently, he and his wife, Jyothika, made headlines after relocating to Mumbai, sparking rumors about strained family relations, particularly with his brother Karthi. Some sources even speculated that Suriya and Jyothika might be heading for divorce. However, during a promotional event for his film Kanguva in Mumbai, Suriya set the record straight regarding these ongoing rumors.

In his statement, Suriya clarified, “Jyothika was born and brought up in Mumbai. At the age of 18, she moved to Chennai, where she has been living with us for the past 27 years. She also gave up her career for the family. Now, she is back in Mumbai, where she wants to spend time with her parents. I work for 20 days a month, which allows me to spend about 10 days with my family in Mumbai. She needs her time, and I support that.”

Suriya also emphasized his strong bond with Karthi, dispelling any notions of family discord. He mentioned that he and Jyothika produced Karthi’s recent film, Satyam Sundaram, and they are planning to collaborate on a multi-starrer in the near future.

With Suriya’s heartfelt comments, he has effectively addressed and put an end to the speculations surrounding his family dynamics. Fans can rest assured that the relationship between the brothers remains intact, and the family continues to thrive despite the rumors.
