One of the most reputed officers in Telangana is IPS Officer Sajjanar. Now he has been in the news again. He is strongly taking actions forward with the “Say no to betting” initiative. Social media influencers who have been promoting betting culture on their social media handles are getting cases registered in their names. This is because of this initiative.
Popular YouTubers Bhayya Sunny Yadav and Harsha Sai had already been booked by Telangana police for promoting betting apps.
Punjagutta police has now made an interesting move , 11 social media influencers were booked for promoting betting apps.
Cases were registered in their names. The list includes anchor Shyamala, Vishnupriya, Supritha, Ritu Chaudhary, Harshasai, Tasty Teja, Pareshan Boys Imran, Kiran Goud, Ajay, Sunny, Sudheer.
The Telangana government is applauded for this move by the public. Many lives have been lost due to betting apps and this must be stopped.
