Thalapathy 69, set to be Thalapathy Vijay’s last film before he transitions to full-time politics, has officially begun production under the direction of H. Vinoth. Rumors suggest that the film may be inspired by the Telugu hit Bhagavanth Kesari, headlined by Balakrishna. The much-anticipated pooja ceremony took place in Chennai today, attended by the film’s key cast and crew.

Vijay’s traditional look during the event garnered significant attention from fans. The film is being produced by KVN Productions, a Sandalwood-based banner making its Tamil debut.
