Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s Thandel had a phenomenal opening weekend at the box office, raking in an impressive ₹55 crore gross and approximately ₹31 crore share. The film continued its momentum into Monday, with noon shows performing well and matinees seeing a significant jump. However, the evening and night shows did not witness the same level of growth.
Initially, trade analysts expected Thandel to collect over ₹8 crore gross worldwide on Monday, given its strong start during the day. However, due to the dip in evening and night shows, the film ended the day with ₹6 crore gross, which is still a solid hold and a positive sign for the makers.
Thandel Maintains a Strong Four-Day Run
With four days at the box office, Thandel has accumulated a ₹61 crore gross and close to ₹34 crore share. The film now needs to maintain steady collections over the weekdays and aim for a strong jump over the weekend to sustain its success.
Meanwhile, Geetha Arts has planned a grand success meet for Thandel this evening, with superstar Nagarjuna attending as the chief guest, adding to the film’s ongoing celebrations.
