This action has deeply hurt SP Charan, who has demanded both an apology and a share in the royalty from the makers of Keedaa Cola.

At a recent event, Tharun Bhascker addressed the issue, expressing regret over the communication gap with SP Charan. He clarified that their intention was to pay tribute to the legendary artist and not to disrespect anyone, emphasizing that there was no commercial motive behind their actions.
