Despite facing significant negativity, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) continues to perform well in Tamil Nadu and international markets. While the film has been deemed a major failure in Kerala, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, it has managed to achieve substantial success elsewhere.
In Tamil Nadu alone, GOAT has grossed an impressive INR 130 crore, with overseas collections adding another INR 125 crore. After just six days in theaters, the Vijay-starrer has raked in a global total of INR 320 crore.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, The GOAT is now the second-highest-grossing film of ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s career, trailing only Lokesh Kanagaraj’s blockbuster Leo (2023). At this pace, the film is poised to cross the INR 400 crore mark by the end of its theatrical run. The movie’s music, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, has also garnered attention.
