Prithviraj Sukumaran’s latest film, “The Goat Life,” has taken the box office by storm, breaking records and earning accolades. Based on the novel Aadujeevitham and directed by Blessy, the movie has become the biggest weekend grosser and the fastest Malayalam film to cross the 100-crore mark. Both critics and audiences have praised the Malayalam version of the film.
Recent reports suggest that “The Goat Life” is set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on May 26, marking its digital debut. It’s rumored that the OTT version will have extended content compared to its theatrical counterpart, although an official announcement from the streaming platform is awaited. Despite facing competition from new releases, the film enjoyed a remarkable theatrical run, grossing over 150 crores worldwide.
Starring alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran is Amala Paul, with Mythri Movie Makers handling the release in the Telugu states. The cast also includes Jimmy Jean-Louis, Rik Aby, and others in significant roles. “The Goat Life” is a collaborative effort between Visual Romance Image Makers, Jet Media Production, and Alta Global Media.
