Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has recently completed filming for his much-awaited period actioner Hari Hara Veera Mallu, clearing the path for the theatrical release. Now, all eyes are back on his next big project, “OG”, a high-octane gangster drama that’s slowly gearing up to resume full-scale production.
After nearly five months, the team of OG has finally returned to the sets. While the latest shooting schedule kicked off with the supporting cast, Pawan Kalyan is yet to join the team. Director Sujeeth is back at the helm, using this time to restructure and fine-tune the film before the Power Star steps in. As per reports, Pawan is expected to join the shoot later this month, depending on his packed political calendar. He has assured the team that he will wrap up his remaining portions as swiftly as possible.
Set primarily in Mumbai, OG features Pawan Kalyan in the fierce role of Ojas Gambheera, fondly referred to as OG—a character that promises to bring mass appeal with a gritty edge.
The film is being produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment. It stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead and features Emraan Hashmi as the main antagonist, marking a notable Bollywood-Tollywood crossover. The ensemble cast also includes Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj in significant roles, while Thaman S handles the music department.
With over 70% of the shoot already completed, Pawan Kalyan is expected to devote around 25 more working days to finish his part. The final schedule is shaping up to be a crucial phase for what’s shaping into a stylish action-packed entertainer.
