Every year on May 4, Tollywood celebrates Director’s Day, a heartfelt tribute to the late legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao on his birth anniversary, acknowledging his significant contributions to the Telugu Film Industry (TFI).
During a recent meeting, the Telugu Film Directors Association (TFDA) shared some heartening news about the celebration. Prabhas, the popular pan-Indian actor, has made a generous donation of Rs. 35 lakhs towards the association’s welfare. The panel expressed its sincere gratitude to Prabhas for his charitable act, which will undoubtedly support TFDA’s ongoing initiatives.
The Director’s Day event is set to take place at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad on May 4, 2024. The TFDA has extended invitations to several esteemed personalities from the industry to join the festivities, including Chiranjeevi, Nani, Nithiin, Allari Naresh, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, and others.
