Ugadi Delights Theatre Owners with Packed Houses

Date:

Festivals not only bring families together but also offer a prime opportunity for cinephiles to indulge in the latest cinematic offerings. Time and again, the strategic release of films during festivals like Sankranti, Ugadi, and Dasara has yielded significant box office success, largely owing to the unwavering support of family audiences. While fans contribute to promising openings, it’s the broader audience base that ultimately determines a film’s triumph.

This Ugadi, audiences displayed wholehearted support by flocking to theaters in substantial numbers. Across various centers, theaters witnessed packed houses, much to the delight of proprietors.

Tillu Square and Manjummel Boys emerged as frontrunners, garnering exceptional response and houseful shows. The positive word-of-mouth catapulted Manjummel Boys to the top spot at the box office, resonating with Telugu audiences akin to the acclaim received by Premalu. Even amidst initial unfavorable reviews, “The Family Star,” starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, experienced a resurgence on Ugadi. Dil Raju and his team celebrated as the film enjoyed robust occupancies across Andhra Pradesh, marking Ugadi as its most successful day to date in numerous centers.
