It’s been six years since Mega Prince Varun Tej charmed audiences with his iconic lover boy role. Following the success of “Toliprema,” he explored diverse roles in films like “Gaddalakonda Ganesh,” “Gandeevadhari Arjuna,” and “Operation Valentine.” His next project, “Matka,” directed by Karuna Kumar, promises another compelling story.
Rumor has it that Varun Tej has approved a script by Vikram Sirikonda, the director behind Ravi Teja’s “Touch Chesi Chudu.” This new venture is reportedly backed by Mythri Movie Makers with a substantial budget, and casting preparations are already underway.
In the meantime, “Matka” is set to begin a new production schedule in Hyderabad starting June 19, 2024. Actresses Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Choudhary will play pivotal roles alongside Teja.
