Superstar Rajinikanth is set to star in the action drama Vettaiyan, scheduled for release on October 10. The film, directed by TJ Gnanavel, who made a significant impact with Jai Bhim, focuses on the lives of encounter specialists. The first single, Manasilaayo, has already generated considerable hype for the film.
In the latest update, Vettaiyan has successfully completed its censor formalities, receiving a U/A certificate from the CBFC. The approved runtime is 163 minutes (2 hours and 43 minutes), which aligns with the trend of lengthy runtimes in big hero films. The theatrical trailer is set to drop on October 2.
The film features an impressive cast, including Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, along with Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. Produced by Subaskaran of Lyca Productions, Vettaiyan boasts a soundtrack composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
