Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava Storms the Box Office, Crosses ₹424 Crore in India

Date:

Vicky Kaushal’s historical magnum opus, Chhaava, continues to dominate the Indian box office, setting new benchmarks for period dramas. This gripping biopic on the legendary Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has now soared past the ₹400 crore mark, cementing its place among the biggest Bollywood blockbusters.

According to the latest trade reports, Chhaava added a strong ₹13.23 crore nett on its 15th day, pushing its total India collections to ₹424.69 crore. With the film entering its third weekend, the much-anticipated ₹500 crore milestone is expected to be breached in the coming week. Notably, Chhaava is outperforming Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule in several regions, particularly in Maharashtra, where its Maratha legacy resonates deeply with audiences.

Helmed by Laxman Utekar and backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava boasts a stellar cast, including Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. Adding to the film’s grandeur, Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman has crafted a soul-stirring soundtrack that enhances the film’s emotional depth.

With its powerful storytelling, stellar performances, and record-breaking box office run, Chhaava is on track to become one of Bollywood’s biggest hits of the year.
