*Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD has ended the box office drought in Telugu cinema. Following the release of Tillu Square, Tollywood lacked a major hit, but Kalki has filled that void. The film had a phenomenal opening day and continues to perform exceptionally well. Vijay Deverakonda made a cameo appearance as Arjuna from the Mahabharata.
Having watched the movie, Vijay Deverakonda praised the team enthusiastically on Twitter, writing, “Just watched the film. I don’t know what to say… Overwhelmed. Indian cinema. New level unlocked. Wth was that! I hope it makes 1000 crores and more.”
Despite facing backlash from some audience members for his portrayal and dialogue delivery, Deverakonda responded with style by updating his social media profile pictures with his still from the movie. Meanwhile, Deverakonda is currently busy shooting his new project, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
