Despite widespread speculation about Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika’s close relationship, the actor has addressed the rumors of an impending wedding in his latest interview with Lifestyle Adia. Dismissing the gossip, Vijay stated, “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumor every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married.”
Having shared the screen in two films, “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade,” where their on-screen chemistry garnered attention, Vijay clarified that any plans for a wedding between him and Rashmika are not in the near future. Despite the duo’s compatibility on screen, it seems a real-life relationship is not on the horizon for them.
