“Gangs of Godavari,” the prestigious project starring Vishwak Sen, premiered yesterday. Despite the team’s confidence, the action drama received negative to mixed reviews. The movie’s team previously confirmed a sequel, but the title was not revealed in theaters, and there was no lead scene for the second installment, surprising some viewers.
Vishwak Sen explained that they do not have the title rights, which is why the title was not disclosed. He added that a separate event will be conducted to announce the sequel. The sequel’s story will focus on Lankala Rathnam with a different geographical setting.
The film also stars Anjali and Neha Sshetty, directed by Krishna Chaitanya and produced by Naga Vamsi. Music for the film was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
