Vishwak Sen’s recent film, Mechanic Rocky, is all set for its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 19th. Despite offering decent commercial elements and entertainment value, the film received mixed reviews and failed to make a mark at the box office, becoming the biggest setback of Vishwak Sen’s career.
The movie struggled to generate buzz before its theatrical release, which reflected in its underwhelming performance. However, audiences seem more inclined to watch it on OTT platforms, giving the film another chance to reach viewers.
Mechanic Rocky marks Vishwak Sen’s third release this year after Gangs of Godavari and Gaami, both of which also failed to achieve box-office success despite receiving positive talk.
The action entertainer features Meenakshi Choudhary and Shraddha Srinath in key roles and is directed by Ravi Teja Mullapudi. Bankrolled by Ram Talluri under the SRT Entertainments banner, the film’s music was composed by Jakes Bejoy.
