Vishwambhara & HHVM Delays: Are Mega Fans Losing Hope?

In Tollywood, films from the Mega family always spark massive excitement—especially when they involve powerhouses like Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. However, the latest updates around their upcoming projects have left fans disheartened, with uncertainty looming large over the release dates.

Following the disappointing response to Game Changer, the pressure is now on the Mega family’s next set of releases. Unfortunately, things don’t seem to be going smoothly for Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara and Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, both of which are facing delays and a lack of clarity on their theatrical launches.

Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta, was originally planned as a grand Sankranti release. But the film was postponed at the final stages, with speculation now pointing toward a May 9 release. However, the production team has yet to make an official announcement, stating that the date will only be confirmed after finalizing key digital and distribution deals.

On the other hand, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which has been in the making for quite some time, is also stuck in limbo. Pawan Kalyan’s active involvement in politics has repeatedly caused delays. Although he recently resumed shooting, sources reveal that around 12 days of filming are still pending. With May 9 inching closer and competition heating up with releases like Nithiin’s Thammudu, Sree Vishnu’s Single, and Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ Bhairavam, the pressure is on to wrap up production and kick-start promotions in time.

Unless the makers or the stars themselves come forward with clarity soon, there’s a real risk that fan excitement could start to dwindle. As things stand, the Mega fans are left waiting—and hoping—for some solid updates and confirmed release dates.
