Mohanlal’s Drishyam franchise, directed by Jeethu Joseph, has become a fan favorite, with both Drishyam and Drishyam 2 being remade in multiple languages, achieving widespread success. A Hollywood remake is also in the works. Ever since the release of the second installment, there has been ongoing speculation about the third part.
A few months ago, rumors circulated that Drishyam 3 would be made simultaneously in Malayalam and Hindi by Jeethu Joseph. Recently, more gossip surfaced on social media, suggesting the director had completed the script, with a possible 2025 release and filming set to begin soon.
However, Jeethu Joseph has now debunked these rumors, clarifying that the much-anticipated third installment is not happening anytime soon. The script is still a work in progress, and with Mohanlal currently occupied with multiple projects, including Lucifer 2, fans will have to wait longer for Drishyam 3.
