The Tamil cinema superstar, who previously announced his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), is fully focused on his path to becoming a significant political leader. In fact, he has even made the personal sacrifice of stepping back from his thriving film career to dedicate himself to politics, with his 69th film set to be his final project, as he prepares for the Tamil Nadu elections in 2026.
Reports suggest that Vijay and his party are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to secure a major victory in the upcoming elections. The actor has emphasized his commitment to bringing about a “fundamental political change,” with a focus on a transparent, caste-free, and corruption-free administration.
In line with the strategies of many political parties today, Vijay is also planning to launch his own TV channel. Sources in Tamil Nadu indicate that the official announcement of this development is imminent, with preparations already underway.
