The controversy stems from Daaku Maharaj, for which Thaman composed the music. Initially, he assured fans that the film’s original soundtrack (OST) would be released on February 7, 2025. However, the date was later pushed to February 13, 2025. Now, even after several days, the much-awaited tracks are yet to be unveiled, leaving fans frustrated.
The disappointment deepened as Thaman had also promised to release a special track titled Sarkaruraa, along with a few background score pieces. This announcement had created a wave of excitement among Balakrishna’s fans, who eagerly waited for the promised music. However, despite repeated queries and requests on social media, Thaman has remained tight-lipped, offering no updates.
