Akhanda 2: Guntur Rights Sold for Record Price

The buzz around Akhanda 2 has reached new heights after its theatrical rights in the Guntur region were locked in for an astounding ₹9.5 crore. This deal marks one of the highest ever for a single territory of a film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.

The film’s pre-release business is already breaking records. For its six Andhra territories, the ratio is reportedly around ₹54 crore, while the Ceeded area alone is pegged at approximately ₹24 crore. These figures underline the enormous trust distributors have in the film’s earning potential.

For the Guntur region, the ₹9.5 crore acquisition stands out as a major milestone—it’s never been this high for a Balakrishna film in that part of the market. With such strong financial backing ahead of release, expectations among trade insiders are sky-high.

With a release date set and all the pieces in place, Akhanda 2 looks ready to deliver mass entertainment on a grand scale. The combination of Balakrishna’s mass appeal, director Boyapati Srinu’s trademark style, and this blockbuster-level business sets the stage for a major theatrical run.

If the film lives up to the hype, it could very well redefine box-office standards in that region. For now, the Guntur rights deal is a clear signal: Akhanda 2 is being positioned as one of the big theatrical events of the year.
