Nandamuri Balakrishna has once again captivated mass audiences with his latest action-packed entertainer, Daaku Maharaaj. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the high-energy drama boasts intense action sequences, Balayya’s signature screen presence, and a powerful background score by Thaman, all of which have struck a chord with movie buffs. The film has performed exceptionally well at the worldwide box office, grossing over Rs. 130 crores.
Now, Daaku Maharaaj has made its way to Netflix, available for streaming in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles. Notably, the film followed a six-week theatrical window, deviating from Tollywood’s usual four-week pattern before its OTT release.
Meanwhile, social media has been buzzing with speculation regarding Urvashi Rautela’s scenes being removed from the digital version. However, these claims are baseless, as the Bollywood actress remains very much a part of the OTT release. In fact, Daaku Maharaaj gained additional attention in Hindi-speaking markets due to Urvashi’s promotional interviews, where she repeatedly highlighted the film’s success, stating, “My film Daaku Maharaaj collected Rs. 105 crores, gross.”
Adding to the film’s appeal, Bobby Deol delivered a power-packed performance as the primary antagonist. The movie also features Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and other notable actors in key roles. Produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments, Daaku Maharaaj continues to be a topic of discussion among cinephiles, both in theaters and on digital platforms.
