Game Changer and Guntur Kaaram References in Indian 2 Delight Fans

Date:

After 28 years since the blockbuster “Indian” (Bharateeyudu) was released, visionary director Shankar Shanmugam and legendary actor Kamal Haasan have reunited for its sequel, “Indian 2,” known as “Bharateeyudu 2” in Telugu. The film premiered today amidst high expectations.

One of the exciting aspects of the film, beyond the stellar performances by Kamal Haasan and Siddharth, is the inclusion of a couple of other movie songs that made the audience dance in their seats. These include the popular “Kurchi Madatha Petti” song from Mahesh Babu’s “Guntur Kaaram” and “Jagarandi” from Ram Charan’s “Game Changer,” directed by Shankar. While these references may not be central to the film’s plot, they have elicited cheers and whistles from fans during screenings.

In addition to Kamal Haasan, the movie boasts a talented cast, including Siddharth, S J Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, and Samuthirakani in significant roles. Produced by Lyca Productions in association with Red Giant Movies, the film features a score composed by Anirudh Ravichander
