During the promotions of “Gaami,” Vishwak Sen teased fans with news of the upcoming release of “Gangs of Godavari.” Now, the official announcement from the makers has arrived: the film is scheduled for a grand premiere on May 17, 2024.
Taking note of the Assembly Elections polling date recently declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the Telugu states, the makers have strategically selected a release date that avoids any clashes with the election day, slated for May 13, 2024. By the time of the film’s release on May 17, the political fervor would have subsided in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, creating an ideal environment for the film’s launch.
Starring Neha Sshetty of “DJ Tillu” fame and Telugu actress Anjali as the female leads, “Gangs of Godavari” is produced by Sithara Entertainments in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas. The ensemble cast also includes Nassar, Sai Kumar, and Goparaju Ramana in pivotal roles. Adding to the excitement, Yuvan Sankar Raja has been roped in to compose the film’s music.
