The superhero film HanuMan, featuring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer, achieved historical success with over 300 crores in gross earnings, making it Tollywood’s biggest Sankranthi hit. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film not only dominated the box office but also found immense popularity in the digital space.
Following this success, HanuMan recently had its world television premiere on Zee Telugu, where it garnered an impressive TRP of 10.26 for its first telecast. This high rating is significant given the recent trend of hit films receiving lackluster responses on television. Despite being widely viewed in theaters and on OTT platforms, HanuMan’s TRP exceeded expectations, confirming its lasting appeal.
The film features a stellar supporting cast including Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Get Up Srinu, and Vennela Kishore. Niranjan Reddy produced HanuMan under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment, marking the first film in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Venture (PVCU).
