National Award-winning actor Allu Arjun’s latest action-packed blockbuster, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is smashing records at the global box office. The film has become the fastest Indian movie to gross a staggering ₹449 crore worldwide within just two days. To celebrate this remarkable achievement, the Pushpa team hosted a media interaction event this evening.
During his speech, Allu Arjun expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Revanth Reddy and Nara Chandrababu Naidu, as well as Cinematography Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Kandula Durgesh, and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their support in approving the ticket price hikes. Allu Arjun also added a personal touch, saying, “On a personal note, Kalyan Babai, thank you so much.”
Thanks to the timely assistance of Pawan Kalyan and Kandula Durgesh, the Andhra Pradesh government allowed six screenings of the film on its release day, December 5. Additionally, the ticket prices were revised, with a hike of ₹100 for lower-class tickets, ₹150 for higher-class tickets, and up to ₹200 for multiplexes. From December 6 to December 17, ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh have been set at ₹324.50 and ₹413 (inclusive of GST).
With these measures in place, Pushpa 2 is poised to continue its extraordinary run at the box office while garnering immense love from audiences worldwide.
