Karthi Reveals Suriya’s Childhood Crush: He Likes Her a Lot

Date:

In a memorable appearance on Unstoppable with NBK, Tamil star Suriya shared lighthearted moments and candid stories with host Balakrishna. From his love for biryani to reflecting on his powerful performance in Soorarai Pottru, Suriya gave fans a glimpse into his personal life and career highlights. When asked about his first crush, Suriya hesitated, humorously calling himself a “late bloomer.”

Not one to let things slide, Balakrishna called in Suriya’s brother Karthi, who joined the fun by playfully teasing Suriya about his childhood. In response to Balakrishna’s probing, Karthi revealed that Suriya once had a crush on actress Gautami, especially in her iconic song Chikubuku Raile from the 1993 film Gentleman. This playful revelation left Suriya chuckling and jokingly calling Karthi “dangerous like a knife.”

Unstoppable with NBK has welcomed notable guests this season, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Dulquer Salmaan, and Meenakshi Chaudhary, adding Suriya to the lineup for a fun-filled episode.

Upcoming Projects for Suriya and Karthi

Suriya is all set to hit the big screen with Kanguva, directed by Siva, releasing on November 14, where he’ll portray dual roles. He has also wrapped up shooting for an untitled project with Karthik Subbaraj. Meanwhile, Karthi, last seen in Meiyazhagan, is busy with Vaa Vaathiyaar and Sardar 2, promising exciting releases for fans of both brothers.
