The much-anticipated film featuring NTR and director Prasanth Neel has officially gone on floors, much to the excitement of fans and movie enthusiasts. Tentatively titled Dragon, this collaboration is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects for Tollywood and Indian cinema as a whole.
The film was initially slated for a Sankranthi 2026 release, with plans to begin shooting by the end of 2024. However, due to some delays, production has now kicked off in the third week of January 2025.
Rukmini Vasanth has been finalized as the lead actress, and the film will also feature Tovino Thomas along with several other prominent stars. Given the scale and quality of this project, director Prasanth Neel is known for his meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that the film meets the highest standards. As a result, there’s a possibility that the release might be shifted to Summer 2026 rather than the initially planned Sankranthi release.
