Tamil actor Ravi Mohan has finally spoken out amid his ongoing legal battle with estranged wife Aarti, addressing the accusations she made against him and offering his side of the story. The couple’s high-profile separation has become increasingly contentious, with both parties leveling serious allegations of emotional and physical mistreatment.
Last week, Aarti accused Ravi of being a neglectful father, sparking intense online debate. Responding via a detailed social media post on Thursday, the Ponniyin Selvan actor denied her claims and alleged that Aarti is using their children as tools to shape public sympathy.
“I refuse to let anyone from my past exploit cheap compassion for attention or undeserved fame,” Ravi wrote in his four-page statement. “This is not just gossip—it’s about my life, my truth, and my journey toward healing. I continue to place my trust in the legal process and will handle this situation with the dignity it deserves.”
He also explained that his decision to remain silent until now was a form of endurance and self-respect. Ravi revealed he felt emotionally and physically trapped in his marriage, stating, “It took immense courage to walk away from a life I could no longer endure. The years I spent isolated—even from my parents—were filled with abuse in many forms.”
In direct response to Aarti’s objection to being referred to as his “ex-wife,” Ravi added, “I began seeing her as my ex the moment I left our home, and that identity will never change for me.”
One of the most emotional parts of his message focused on his children, whom he says he has been separated from since the split. “What hurts me the most is seeing my children being used in a narrative built to serve financial motives. I have been deliberately cut off from them,” he alleged.
