Actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has found himself in legal trouble after allegedly misbehaving with a traffic constable in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills area. The incident took place near the Journalists Colony junction and has since garnered attention online, especially after a video of the encounter surfaced on social media.
According to reports, the case was registered based on a complaint filed by traffic constable Naresh. Jubilee Hills Traffic Inspector A. Praveen Kumar confirmed on Thursday that the actor was booked under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
As per the complaint, the actor attempted to take an unauthorized route towards Journalists Colony, ignoring the requirement to make a U-turn as per traffic rules. When constable Naresh intervened and stopped the vehicle, Bellamkonda allegedly insisted on continuing through the wrong route. However, the constable stood firm and instructed him to follow proper traffic protocol.
Eventually, the actor complied and left the scene without further confrontation. The incident, caught on camera, quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing widespread attention.
On the professional front, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has completed filming for his upcoming movie Bhairavam, which is scheduled for release on May 30th.
