Director Shankar is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated political action drama Game Changer, starring Ram Charan in the lead role. Known for his grand cinematic vision, Shankar has faced a rough patch recently, making this film a crucial turning point in his career. As part of the promotional campaign, the filmmaker shared an intriguing statement during an interview.
Shankar remarked, “Only content has the ultimate power to keep the audience glued to their seats. Grandeur is of no help when there is no story. Nothing can beat a good story, and no amount of grandeur can justify bad content. For example, I shot the songs of Mudhalvan (Oke Okkadu) in various regions, but it was the content that took the driver’s seat.”
The trailer of Game Changer has drawn comparisons to Mudhalvan, giving audiences similar vibes. In this film, Ram Charan portrays a bureaucrat fighting against corruption and the political system. Set to release on January 10, the movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Anjali, Sunil, and Jayaram, among others. Produced by Dil Raju, this magnum opus is eagerly awaited by fans and critics alike.
