The much-anticipated “Indian 2,” directed by Shankar Shanmugham, is set for a grand release tomorrow. The film, starring the legendary Kamal Haasan, is a sequel to the 1996 Tamil hit “Indian.” Advance bookings for both Tamil and Telugu versions have surged at the perfect time.
During the Telugu promotions, Shankar addressed rumors regarding Kamal’s screen time. The director confirmed that Ulaganaayagan Kamal Haasan will be present throughout the movie.
In a recent interview, Shankar revealed that Kamal Haasan will make his entry 20 minutes into the film. He said, “There is a rumor circulating that Kamal sir will make his entry only after the interval. That’s not true. The hero’s entry will happen at the 20th minute. Even until Kamal sir’s intro, all the characters in the movie will talk about him. His presence will be felt throughout. Even when he is not around, people will feel his aura.”
“Indian 2” also features Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, and others. Star heroine Kajal Aggarwal will appear only in the third part, which is set to release in 2025. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for this blockbuster
