Tollywood: Actress quits films to become a Supreme Court lawyer – Guess who?

The girl who started her career as an actress on the small screen later made her mark as a heroine in the film industry. She acted as the leading lady in several films and won the hearts of the audience with her beauty and acting skills. Her charm and talent brought her multiple offers in the Telugu film industry. However, despite getting opportunities, all her films turned out to be disasters at the box office. As a result, she couldn’t attain the stardom she had hoped for, and eventually, her film offers began to decline.

With the film industry no longer favoring her, she decided to step away and venture into politics. At the same time, she pursued a law degree and successfully completed her studies. Today, she serves as a lawyer at the Supreme Court of India. Wondering who she is? She is none other than actress Reshma Rathore.

Hailing from Bhadradri Kothagudem district in Telangana, Reshma completed her education at Kakatiya University in Warangal. She made her silver screen debut in 2012 as the heroine’s friend in the film Bodyguard, starring Venkatesh and Trisha. That same year, she was introduced as the lead actress in the film Ee Rojullo, directed by Maruthi. This youthful romantic entertainer brought her instant recognition and a solid fan following.

Following the success of her debut film, Reshma acted alongside the late Uday Kiran in Jai Sriram. She also appeared in Telugu films like Love Cycle, Pratighatana, and Jeelakarra Bellam. In addition to Telugu cinema, she ventured into Tamil and Malayalam films, showcasing her versatility across multiple industries.
