Siddharth Praises Fiance Aditi Rao Hydari’s Performance in ‘Heeramandi’; Calls It ‘A Letter of Love and Freedom’

The recently launched Netflix series “Heeramandi,” directed by the acclaimed Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has been receiving widespread acclaim from both netizens and celebrities. The show is lauded for its stunning visuals, intricate storytelling, and a stellar ensemble cast.

Tamil actor Siddharth, who is engaged to “Heeramandi” star Aditi Rao Hydari, shared his praise for the series on social media. In an Instagram story, he posted a screenshot featuring Aditi Rao Hydari and commented, “Acting, Music, Aesthetic, Drama. Grateful that we are living in The Age of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Saab. #heeramandi. A letter of Love and Freedom Told in the confines of a bygone age with images that mesmerize the heart Music and verse that stir the soul.” Siddharth described “Heeramandi” as a “work of art” that would make the legendary director K. Asif, known for the iconic “Mughal-e-Azam,” proud.

“Heeramandi,” set in pre-independence India, revolves around the stories of love and betrayal among courtesans. The series features a star-studded cast including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal, with Fardeen Khan, Taha Shah, Shekhar Suman, and Adhyayan Suman in significant roles. The series is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali under the banner of Bhansali Productions.

Siddharth has a busy slate ahead. He’s set to star in “Indian 2,” directed by Shankar Shanmugam, alongside Kamal Haasan. This highly anticipated sequel to “Indian” also features an ensemble cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film is set for a theatrical release in June 2024.

Additionally, Siddharth will appear in the sports drama “Test,” directed by S Sashikanth, alongside R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, Meera Jasmine, and others. “Test” is produced by YNOT Studios and is expected to be a gripping narrative exploring the world of sports.
