Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s much-anticipated sequel, “Indian 2,” has hit the screens today. The bookings are decent to good across all territories, with a significant surge in the last few hours. Given the high stakes, the movie requires positive word-of-mouth to succeed. It was previously revealed that the “Indian 3” trailer will be shown at the end of “Indian 2.”
Now, Shankar has shared more details about the trailer. In an interview, Shankar stated, “Just like Marvel movies, the ‘Indian 3’ trailer will be shown at the end. Thirty seconds after the rolling titles, the trailer will be played. You can also call it a glimpse. It is about two and a half minutes long. After the completion of the trailer, the balance of the rolling titles will continue.”
The latest update advises distributors and exhibitors nationwide to keep the lights off until the “Indian 3” trailer finishes playing as part of the end credits. The movie is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. “Indian 2” features Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Bobby Simha in vital roles.
